Under the statutory regulations of the Gujarat Forest Department, official Gir Jungle Trail entry permits, once issued against registered passenger identity proofs, are 100% non-refundable, non-transferable, and non-amendable. No refund can be granted for the statutory forest permit portion of your booking under any circumstances.
For the remaining refundable component of your package (dedicated 4x4 open Maruti Gypsy vehicle hire and local facilitation charges), cancellation refunds are calculated based on the notice period provided before your scheduled safari shift:
| Cancellation Timeline | Refund Amount |
|---|---|
| More than 30 Days | 75% Refund |
| 15 to 30 Days | 50% Refund |
| 7 to 14 Days | 25% Refund |
| Less than 7 Days / No-Show | No Refund |
The core Gir Jungle Trail is officially closed annually from June 16th to October 15th for the wildlife breeding season. Safari permits are neither generated nor accepted during this monsoon window. Devalia Safari Park remains open throughout the year (except Wednesdays).
In the rare event that the Gujarat Forest Department cancels a safari shift due to severe unseasonal rainfall, natural disasters, VIP movement protocols, or emergency sanctuary management orders, refund or rescheduling options will strictly adhere to official government directives issued on that day.
Approved cancellation refunds are processed back to the original source account or payment method within 7 to 10 working days. To request a cancellation, please send a written request with your booking reference to info@girsafaripark.in or message our desk at +91 76987 13013.
