Gir Safari Park is a private, locally operated travel facilitation service in Sasan Gir, Gujarat, dedicated to helping visitors coordinate permit booking, registered 4x4 Gypsy rentals, local guide scheduling, and hotel accommodations for wildlife tours. We are not directly affiliated with, managed by, or representatives of the Gujarat Forest Department or any government entity.
Gir National Park & Sanctuary is an autonomous protected wildlife reserve governed solely by the Gujarat Forest Department. The Forest Department retains exclusive statutory authority over permit issuance, gate entry rules, seasonal opening and closing dates, safety guidelines, and vehicle capacity quotas. Our agency acts purely as a local travel assistant to facilitate bookings on behalf of visiting travelers.
All tariffs published on this website are indicative estimates compiled from official forest department fees, registered vehicle union charges, and guide honorariums. Tariffs may fluctuate based on real-time availability, weekend surges, major national holidays (Diwali, Christmas, New Year), and statutory government fee revisions. The final applicable package price is explicitly communicated and agreed upon before payment collection.
Gir is an unfenced 1,412 sq km natural sanctuary. Animals roam entirely in the wild. While our registered local guides and experienced drivers utilize expert tracking techniques (including fresh pugmarks and alarm calls) to maximize viewing opportunities, no safari operator or guide can guarantee sightings of Asiatic lions, leopards, or other wildlife.
